Die Aufgabe bestand darin, eine Beziehung zur Musikkultur auf ausgewählte Weise entstehen zu lassen. So entstand auch das Projekt “hardcore.“. Häufig fälschlicherweise gleichgesetzt mit Hardcore-Punk, bringt der mittlerweile eigenständige Hardcore-Kosmos Aspekte mit sich, die es zu verstehen und zu erfahren gilt. So auch die der Szene inhärente DIY-Attitüde, welche durch eine „einfach-machen“-Prädigt dazu auffordert, die Szene durch selbstständiges Umsetzen von Shows am Leben zu erhalten. Wie umsetzbar diese Attitüde in einer von Hardcore bislang unberührten Stadt ist, soll das im Zuge des Projekts entstandene „Flegeljahre-Booking“ zeigen. Nach monatelanger Planung und Dokumentation lockten acht talentierte Musiker*innen am 15.02.2025 reichlich Besucher*innen ins Fahrradkinokombinat in Kiel und sorgten für einen Abend voller Subkultur und Freude. Die Umsetzung und die positive Beantwortung der Leitfrage sorgen nun zukünftig für weitere Shows unter „Flegeljahre“.

In the 5th semester of the scenography course, students were tasked with forming a relationship to music culture in a chosen way. This led to the creation of the project “hardcore.”. Often mistakenly equated with hardcore punk, the now independent hardcore cosmos brings with it aspects that deserve to be understood and experienced. Among them is the scene’s inherent DIY attitude, which, through a “just do it” - thought, encourages people to keep the scene alive by organizing shows on their own. The project “Flegeljahre Booking” set out to explore how feasible this attitude is in a city previously untouched by hardcore. After months of planning and documentation, eight talented musicians drew many interested people to the “Fahrradkinokombinat” in Kiel on February 15, 2025, delivering an evening full of subculture and joy. The success of the event and the positive answer to the guiding question have paved the way for further shows under “Flegeljahre” .
