Der „Empathy Hub“ ist ein öffentliches Wohnzimmer auf der Straße, das mehrere Gebäude miteinander verbindet und Raum für Begegnung, Austausch und Miteinander zwischen den Generationen schafft. Entstanden aus recycelten Materialien, steht das Projekt für eine nachhaltige, energieeffiziente und ressourcenschonende Architektur, die bestehende Strukturen bewahrt und neu denkt. Der Empathy Hub ist Teil einer vernetzten Welt aus UAM-Station, Living Forest, Empathy Hub und the Platform – ein offenes Wegenetz, das zur Bewegung, Kommunikation und Reflexion einlädt. Ein Promo-Video führt durch das gesamte Areal und stellt die Hauptfiguren vor: Mrs. Kim, 76 Jahre alt, regelmäßige Besucherin und Mentorin für jüngere Generationen, und Empi, ein interaktiver Roboter, der besonders älteren Menschen hilft, sich im Komplex zurechtzufinden. Der Empathy Hub ist mehr als ein Ort – er ist eine lebendige Plattform für Fürsorge, Inklusion und Zukunft.
