„Das schwarze Wasser“ ist Installation, Performance, Gemälde und Titel meiner Einzelausstellung bei MEGA Contemporary im April 2025. Ziel ist es, Grenzen zwischen High Fashion und zeitgenössischer Kunst zu durchbrechen. Malerei wird zum fluiden Raum, der über sein Medium hinaus reflektiert - wie das Wasserbecken, das klassische Malerei verzerrt widerspiegelt. Inspiriert von Balenciaga's Face Shield entstand die Avantgarde-Maske: ein schwarzes Objekt, das Identität verbirgt und reflektiert. Maske und Wasser teilen Materialität - als dunkle Spiegel, die Malerei in Bewegung übersetzen. Die Installation wurde als Laufsteg konzipiert, auf dem Models die Masken im Wasser platzierten - als performativer Akt zwischen Mode, Kunst und Gesellschaft. “The Black Water” is an installation, a performance, a painting, and the title of my solo exhibition at MEGA Contemporary in April 2025. The aim is to dissolve boundaries between high fashion and contemporary art. Painting becomes a fluid space that reflects beyond its own medium - like the water basin that distorts classical painting through movement. Inspired by Balenciaga’s Face Shield, the Avant-Garde Mask emerged: a black object that conceals identity and reflects its surroundings. Mask and water share a materiality - as dark mirrors translating painting into motion. The installation was designed as a runway, where models placed the masks in the water - a performative act merging fashion, art, and social reflection.
