Mein Bachelorabschlussprojekt besteht aus einer Serie von Ölmalereien auf Leinwand, die an mir sehr vertrauten Stränden und in kleinen Wäldern entlang der Küste entstanden sind. Es sind stille Orte, an denen der Mensch und sein Eingriff in die Natur nicht im Vordergrund stehen. Das Pleinairmalen ist für mich ein performativer Akt der bewussten Annäherung an meine Umgebung. Dabei geht es nicht um ein dokumentarisches Abbilden, sondern um die emotionale Resonanz, die diese Landschaften in mir hervorrufen. Die Malereien oszillieren zwischen dem Wunsch, fragile Momente festzuhalten, und der Sehnsucht nach einer unversehrten, intakten Natur.

My bachelor’s degree project consists of a series of oil paintings on canvas, created at coastal locations—beaches and small forests—that are deeply familiar to me. These are quiet places where human presence does not take center stage. For me, plein air painting is a performative act of consciously approaching my surroundings. It is not about documentary depiction, but about capturing the emotional resonance that these landscapes evoke. The works oscillate between the desire to preserve fragile moments and the longing for an untouched, intact natural world.
